Degree of significance

"How significant you are to someone can be judged by how fast that person replies you when you are having a conversation with them."

Life's getting more and more exciting.
People come, people go.
One minute you are laughing, another minute you cry.

Time passed so fast that I didn't realise that college life is about to end.
In less than 1 year, (fingers crossed) all of us will be graduating and either go UK to further our studies or start working.
Life wouldn't be as interesting and relaxing as it is now anymore :(
The worst part of all is that everyone will go their separate ways.
Will we ever meet again?

Next year, 22.
Can you believe it?
I can't.
How can 21 years pass so fast?

The Awesome 21st Birthday

21st birthday, yay!
Recently my days have been filled with lots of laughter, smiles, jokes and most importantly, happy people!
I feel very blessed and grateful to be having all the great people around.

How awesome these bunch of people were?
I basically celebrated my birthday for one whole week!

It all started on 27 July.
That day is one of my college mate's birthday and we decided to head to Times Square and have lunch and maybe go for bowling.
Little did I know that at the same time, they sang birthday song to me and I actually got ONE present!
YAY!
The Birthday girls with the oh-so-touching birthday gift!
Handmade fully recyclable gift from Jacky :)
First cake for my birthday.

On that day, instead of going for bowling, we actually went sing k!
YAY!

Then the next day it was movie day with the MUM!
:D
Free Despicable Me 2 tickets and lotsa delicious cakes and tarts from Rotiboy! :)
My house is filled with sweet tooth people!
Second cake for my birthday.
& that night we went to Samosa for dinner.
Since my brother and I have our birthday in the month of July, we were given 2 free jugs of drink!
Awesome food with the family :)

And then Monday came.
& my college friend actually made me a durian cheese cake!
Third cake for my birthday.
How awesome is that?!
It was so mouth watering, I forgot to take a picture of it :(

Then the real day came!
30th July 2013 :)
Huge drama.
Was supposed to go sing k near college with Yee Tong and another friend, Vei Sim.
Ended up being a surprise by my classmates!
Vei Sim actually pakat with them!!
Forth cake for my birthday.
The bunch of awesome people! :)
On top of that, most of the girls actually wore dress!
Yes, it is quite rare in TARUC.
HAHA!
YAY!
Thanks pepo! :D
 Thanks for the gift!
To my college gang :)

& this!
A birthday card! :)

That evening, I actually went to Starbuck's Buy 1 Free 1 promotion and redeemed my free slice of birthday cake :)
Fifth cake for my birthday.

& then Wednesday came!
I actually had the chance to meet up with this pretty lady!

We spent time eating and chit chatting, updating each other on what happened, what is happening and what might happen in our life :)
We also shopped together.
Thanks for the lunch!

After Wednesday, Thursday came :)
I actually stayed back in Genting Klang for the night and 3 friends & I went to Sri Rampai pasar malam!
Though we did not know the way there, we eventually got there and got back safely! :)
& at night, we had supper at Steven's Corner!
Garlic Cheese Naan for life! xD

[Updated on 25 August 2013]
& on Friday, the Hamburger group had steamboat for dinner in GK! :)
Hometown Steamboat!
Good but not as good as I expected.
Hoi Tong is still the best! :)
But I had lotsa fun with them.
Then then then..surprise birthday cake!
YAY!
6th birthday cake! :D
We actually brought the cake back to Jie Kai's house and celebrated with the rest of his housemates.
Tadaaaa!
Super duper happy!
This was definitely a once in a lifetime experience.
LOL.
They actually made a minion card for me! :)
Actually I requested for it :x

Thanks so much guys!
You guys are awesome!

Besides that, Hema actually stopped by my house and gave me a slice of cake and murukusssss!
Gahhh, I love muruku!!!
Thanks Hema! :)

Overall, celebrated my birthday for one whole week.
Thanks to family and friends for all the wishes, celebration, surprises and gifts :)
Really had a great 21st birthday.

Just stay strong.

You know, when you start crying in public, it is embarrassing.

:'(

Just stay strong.
As time passes, the sadness goes away.
As days passes, they will eventually go away.
Well, I hope.

The light of hope is so dim, I can barely see it.
The amount of effort that I have put in, you can never believe it.
But how come the outcome is no where near it?

The things I think.

I think....

I am qualified enough to be called a Chinese :D (Super proud!)
I am loud when it comes to sports :\ (I shout too much. Too much enthusiasm I guess)
I am a very quiet to strangers.
I am a risk adverse person.
I think too much all the time.
I do not like commitments.
my English is becoming worse and worse.
I am addicted to shopping.
I love being alone. (This is bad, I guess?)
I talk too much at times :\
I love working life more than study life :\
I need to start working out again. (Fats accumulating at my waist and thigh area. ARGHH!)
I want to switch my facial stuff all to Hada Labo brand. (The best so far, after trying like 412312489346 brands =.=)
I am very naggy.
I am writing too much.
I will stop soon.
I am gonna stop.
I am still typing.
I am gonna sleep.
I shall say goodbye.

Goodbye.

I need more sleep!

Working place is so damn far!
Every morning need to wake up at freaking 5.30am!
Will only reach working place at 8.30am.
I think I need a break.
No more going out on weekends.
I'm just gonna sleep, sleep and perhaps sleep more during weekends.

Although this engagement is not so awesome, I still will make things awesome my way :)
They don't talk, it is okay.
I shall talk :D
I shall unleash the talkativeness in me xD

12 more working days.
Life is short.
Or perhaps shall I say, internship days are short.
So use it to the fullest :D

Weeeee~

Oh, climbing up the mountain of socialization again :(

Okayyyy.
Here comes another weekly update.
Internship was still as awesome as always for the week :)
So I will be changing audit team again starting from tomorrow.
Third client already. YAY!
The good thing is that I will get to know more people.
:D
And I can sense leng lui-ness in the next team :DD
There will be more girls compared to guys. *I checked :D

Anyway, I really feel like cutting my hair like super short again :(
My hair is super dry and frizzy.
Idon'tlikeit!

Oh oh..
I realized that I am a kind of person that do not like to socialize zz
In a room filled with people, I would be the one that stands at a corner while everyone dance.
In a band, I would be the one standing at the back, backing up the others.
In a game, I would be the one that replaces the main players that get injured.
In a performance, I would be the backstage one that is never seen.
In the world, I would be the one that gives the world the least impact and just making sure nothing bad comes from me.

I don't know if it is my character that is dragging me back from approaching people or is it just the people that makes me feel so lazy to approach them.

Because of my weird and passive characteristic, I am really slow at getting close to people around me.
Therefore, I would prefer people to approach me rather than me approaching them.
& I know not many people would take the initiative to take the effort to suck me in in their team or group.
People nowadays are more like, "You're alone? Your problem lah.".
So, yeah.
I don't mind being alone anyway.

Blahh. Not being emo here.

Just blasting my mind and thoughts out :D

Anyway, time for some entertainment and motivation.
Am currently having one of the worst face ever.
Pimples and break outs everywhere on my face.
Gonna stop spicy and fried food for the moment and drink more water.
*asifI'mgonnadothat pfft

Almost there!

Yeah, officially done with Advance Diploma Year 1 and also all ACCA fundamental papers!
BOOYAH!
Though results were not that good and I know it is average, all I want is a PASS!
& of course to maintain the current scholarship.
So, a pass is considered good enough for me.
So far, I can see that I am not really good at calculation and numbers :\
But I can do common sense papers :D

Now it has been 5 weeks of internship.
I can see that life as an auditor is very busy and most of the time lifeless.
But when I compare between an accountant and an auditor, I would prefer being an auditor.
An auditor gets to meet different clients and be in different team all the time.
Hmm.. :\
Well, one more year to go to decide.

In the meantime, will strive hard for the last 5 professional papers!
ROAR!

Hazy days ahead.

The Norm.

4 weeks since internship started :)
Still surviving.
Am having the time of my life :D
The current team might not consist of daily jokes, teasing and funny people but like what I said, I will create the awesomeness out of it :)
Things might be bad at times but how happy you are depends on how you respond to the bad things.
On the first day I went back to office, basically I did scanning, photocopying and filling tasks and so I complained that the scanner and stapler was crappy.
But on the second day, I treat the task of scanning and stapling AT THE 14th FLOOR as an exercise and a way to get to know more people :DD
Well, at least having a task to do is better than having nothing to do because there are times that I literally SIT & STARE at the laptop screen :\
Oh oh, and I get to scan my employee card every time I need to enter the leave and the office :D
So I get to do it soooo many times because I have to go up and down :D
I also have this task of buying currypuffs :DD
I enjoy doing that a lot because it is like a race.
On Mondays and Thursdays, there is this uncle that will stop his car/van somewhere near the main entrance of the building and sell currypuffs.
And he comes at 10.30/10.45am and when he comes, the crowd goes wild!! will be there!
So sharp 10.30am, I need to make a move and head towards the lower ground floor in order to secure some currypuffs :)

Well, that's basically life of an intern IN THE OFFICE :)
Might not fully utilize my auditing knowledge but it is really relaxing and stress-free :)
Although not that awesome but still awesome!
Another awesome part is when I get to go for lunch with my secondary school friends!
That is freaking awesome!
It is like MASA REHAT all again.

First lesson learnt:
Do not get overly close and comfortable with a certain group of people.
People come and people go.

Second lesson learnt:
SMILE & you will be accepted :)
You don't need to try so hard to fit in.
Just be the YOU in you.

I <3 bum="" loyal="" p="" this="">

After so long, I finally went shopping again! :)
Andddd, I got my hair cut and wash at Kimarie Salons & Academy :)
It only cost me RM7!
The student from the academy cut for me.
Simple and they don't really cut too much because they are afraid of getting it wrong, so forgivable :D

I can't really remember the prices but all i remember was:
Cut + wash + style : RM7
Treatment : RM13
They have hair colouring and perm too but I forgot to take a picture of it.
Anyway, here is their address and contact number:

Kimarie Salons & Academy
04-02 Wisma Bukit Bintang,
28, Jalan Bukit Bintang,
55100, Kuala Lumpur
03-21480800

So, I went shopping! :)
From like 2pm until 6pm.
From Times Square to the salon, to Lot 10, to Fahrenheit 88 and Pavilion and then back to Times Square.
LOL.
& I went alone.
Reasons why I prefer shopping alone...
Usually I walk a lot when I shop.
From the statement above, you can see that I can walk a lot.
So, my girl friends usually don't like to walk so I don't call them along.
On top of that, I shop very long!
I don't like people to wait for me especially if they are the ones that like to stand outside the shop and wait =.=
This goes to guys. I see a lot of girls that shop and their boyfriends stand outside the shop.
One, people waiting gives me pressure and two, if you wanna come along with me for shopping, you need to give me opinions instead of standing outside.
Third reason, I don't like to wait for people and ask for opinions on whether they wanna go here or there first.

When I am alone, I walk where ever I want, when ever I want and I don't need to tell or ask other people anything.
So yeah.
SOLO is AWESOME! :D
So so, there is sales everywhere!

H&M is having Buy 1 Free 1 sales for certain items.
Cotton On is like having mad sales!
So, yeah, go grab! :D

Awesomenessssss!

One word, AWESOME!

Internship has been nothing but AWESOME!

The current audit team is so awesome!
The environment is awesome.
The experience is awesome.

There is so much practicability in the theories learnt in college.
Okay, I am in audit and assurance department, therefore, I am talking about audit wise.
Basically, everything learnt in college is applicable in my internship.
Well, of course there is more in practice than in theory wise because every company practices different policy and procedures.

I am now in my second week of internship already.
Still with the same awesome audit team.
Next week might be my last with the current group.

I want to talk about my long working hours but I don't wanna disclose my working hours here.
Afraid of the consequences of disclosing my schedule :\
Anyway, it is long.
Quite long, compared to college days.

For the first few days, I really felt like dying because of the need to get up sooooooo early in the morning and sleep sooooo late at night.
But by the second week, my body adapted to the timings already :D

So anyway, audit team awesome.
What I've learnt so far?
1. Eat fast!
2. Eat a lot!
3. ASK QUESTIONS.
4. Don't vomit theories in exam paper and not suck them back :\
5. Talk more.
6. Adapt to situations quickly.

Yea, that's pretty much the general lessons :D

I still haven't have the time to really think of a comprehensive blog post regarding internship.
This is just a short summary of what is happening.
But in conclusion, audit team is AWESOME!! :D

Last but not least, have been meeting lotsa people that annoy the sh*t out of me.
So, I would like to emphasize on this.

"When I throw a fact at you aggressively it means I have done my research.

At times when I stop arguing with you about your facts, it does not mean you are right, it might simply mean you are behaving like a total childish crap and I don't wanna waste my freaking time arguing with a "nonsenseful" person.
Do your research and don't create your own fact out of crap."

Take one step at a time.

"Take one step at a time.
There's no need to rush.
It's like learning to fly, or falling in love."

Internship is AWESOME! :)

Finally have one day holiday to blog about the one week I went through.

Well, the first day was pretty much orientation day.
We had activities like introductions, group activities, office tours, etc.
On the second day, we were assigned to our respective client and audit team.

So I had to travel all the way to Wisma Akademi which I had no idea where it is and how in the world does the building even look like.
I was told to take the LRT to Asia Jaya and take the bus from there.
So, okay.
Reached Asia Jaya and the particular bus doesn't go there.
WHAT ON EARTH?!
So the bus driver told me to go to the bus stop at the highway to take another bus to the place.
So, I hopped on to the bus told.
And this happened..
Me: Bang, bas ni ada pergi 3 2 square?
Driver: Errr, takde takde.
Me: Dekat dekat sana ada?
Driver: Err, kejap eh, saya fikir..........(still fikir-ing)....Oh, ada ada. Tiga dua, tiga dua.
(I thought he ask me to hop on the U32 bus =.= So I wanted to get off the bus)
Driver: Eh eh, pergi mana? Ada lah!
Me: Bas ni ADA pergi 3 2 square?
Driver: Ya ya.
Me: Okay, saya berdiri di sini, bila sampai awak suruh saya turun ye.
Driver: Okay okay..

So he started driving and somehow he kept telling where we are every single bus stop he stopped at @.@

Then...
When we were almost there..
Driver: Mana Wisma Akademi ni?
Me: Saya pun tak tau.
Driver: So, awak sampai 3 2 Square, member datang ambik ke?
Me: Err, tak kot. Kena jalan gi Wisma Akademi.
Driver: Awak tau ke Wisma Akademi tu kat mana dan rupa dia?
Me: Tak tau.

Then the driver started yelling to the passengers in the bus.
Driver: Perhatian! Ada sesiapa yang tahu Wisma Akademi kat mana tak???

Omgosh, that seriously scared me! LOL!
But too bad no one responded :(

Anyway...
Me: Takpe lah. Saya turun kat 3 2 Square, saya akan kol kawan saya.
Driver: Oh okok. Make sure you call kawan you ah. Jangan hilang pula. Apa lah, nak pergi tempat tu tapi tak tahu tempat tu.

So then he let me down and I thanked him for his help.
Awwww, there is still good and helpful people around in Malaysia :)
Felt so enlighten on that day despite waiting for the bus for one  hour zz

Anyway, yes, back to internship.
I think I shall leave it for the next post because I need to get myself ready cause I am going to watch Fast & Furious 6 laterrrrr!! :D

Will talk about internship in the next post!

A few pictures.

With the group of interns and 2 of the permanent staff on orientation day :)

With the "Tallest Tower Building" team :)
 First day of work.
AFTER the 3rd day of work x_X

First day of internship.

First milestone step.
First day in the corporate world.
First time being late for half an hour for a job.
First internship.

Anyway, yes, first day of internship today.
Well, basically a lot of briefing and activities.

But this post is not dedicated for internship...

This is about one of my fear.

So after intern today, I went to Maluri AEON to wait for my dad.
He went in to AEON to go to the washroom =.=
So I waited for him at the main entrance, right beside Starbucks because I thought of stealing their Wifi again =x
And then, suddenly a stranger approached me, smiled at me and said HI!
Here was how our conversation went..
Shall call him Stranger. He has a very strong English accent.

Stranger: Hi!
Me: Err, hi?
Stranger: I like your hair colour! It looks really nice on you. Suits you very well. Where did you get it done? Like which saloon did you went to to dye it?
Me: Err, I did it myself.
Stranger: What? You did it yourself? What brand of product did you bought?
Me: Err, Liese.
Stranger: How much is it?
Me: Err, I'm not sure. You can actually get it inside. (pointed inside AEON)
Stranger: Oh okay, thank you. Anyway, I actually just came back from the US. So what are you doing now? Are you studying or working?
Me: I am studying.
Stranger: Oh, which college?
Me: Tunku Abdul Rahman. (I was assuming he would not know what college it is and just leave me alone)
Stranger: Oh, UTAR?
Me: No, college.
Stranger: Oh yes, college. Yes, I know the difference between UTAR and TAR College. Yes, yes. I didn't catch your name just now, what was your name again?
Me: Err, Felicia. (Told my name reluctantly and kept looking inside AEON to see if dad was coming out already and hoping he would not ask for my number)
Stranger: Oh okay, nice to meet you. (Showing his hand, wanting to shake hands with me)
Me: (I did not shake his hand because one hand was holding the file and the other was holding my phone)
Stranger: You don't shake hand?
Me: Err, my hands are kinda full.
Stranger: What about pinky? (Showing his last finger -.-)
Me: Err, no, sorry. (After thinking for some time) I am actually waiting for my dad.
Stranger: Oh alright. I understand that you do not want to be judged. (He then walked a little further away and then his worker/driver came out calling him).
Me: (THANK GOD!)

Anyway, I told my mum the story and she was like, you wasted an opportunity to get to know a rich person. LOL.

What to do, I am afraid of strangers.

Will update about my first day of internship soon.
The day I went half an hour late zz

Fear.

 Random post.
Just realised that I have lotsa fears.
1. Crowd
2. Strangers
3. People's thoughts about me
4. CROSSING THE ROAD
5. Lightning
6. Thunder
7. Foreigners :\
8. A place filled with too many girls :\
9. The road less taken
10. Standing in front of a crowd
11. Talking in front of a crowd
12. People listening to me
13. Singing alone in Kbox zz
14. People whispering to another person in front of me
15. KIDS!

So far, that is what I can think of  :\

Anyway, just a few group photos :)
Good old DAC18 buddies.

& tadaaaa, first time appearing in my blog, the all new AFA11 :)

Internship begins tomorrow till end of July.
All the best to every intern from TARC! :)

End of Advanced Diploma Year 1.

Well, today marks the end of my Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Financial Accounting) Year 1.
What I can say is that, drastic change comparing Diploma and Advanced Diploma.
You can call me lucky in Diploma but luck doesn't get you far when you are in Advanced Diploma.
Don't even think it is sufficient to grant you a pass in exams.

Studying life in Advanced Diploma has been really, really, really tough :\
But well, without the falls, you won't know the pain.
& without the pain, you won't know the mistakes to learn from.

I have NEVER EVER take the time to study in the library before.
I know last minute studying will not work in Advanced Diploma.
Well, NOW I know.
Hopefully it is not too late YET.

Anyway, what I can say is that, I really like that I have a new tutorial group.
I mean, compared to Diploma.
New friends, new style and new environment.
They are freakingishly COOL!
*Somanylengluisandlengzaisssss! =x
Entertainment to the max every tutorial class.
MUAHAHAHA!

Alright, internship starts on Monday.
2 days of sembreak.
Yes, 2 days.
So, enjoy larh apa lagi!
GOODBYE :)

Flyyyyy awayyyy.

Butterflies in my tummy.
Exams, meetings, answering questions and so manyyyyy events that will trigger thousands of butterfly to moveeee in my tummy.

Anyway, finals in 2 weeks time.
Nervous like mad but still wanna enjoy week 12. HAHAHA.
So called honeymoon week larhhhhhhh :\

After one week of finals, finally practical training begins!
I have not prepared anything for internship.

Everything is passing sooooooo fast that I don't even have the time to just sit back and think what I've done.
My everyday life is wake up, go college, study, come back, watch TV, do something that make the time pass faster and then sleep x_X

Butttttt, am having so much fun!

Never regret your decision.
If it is a mistake, learn from it.

Will update soooooonnnn.
GOODBYE FOR NOW :)

That bitch!

I was playing with Mimi just now.
Suddenly she ran and hit my mouth.
Swollen mouth and bleeding gums =.=
Never underestimate the ability of a dog.
The right side of my lips suddenly became numb and I feel the swell.
Goshhh...!

She was like a Ninja Turtle running everywhere!
But after she hit me, she just sat one place and looked at me with that sad-guilty face =.=
Damn, that bitch I tell you!

After committing a crime, she will make you feel guilty for even being mad at her in your mind!

Yes, I am talking about this bitch!

Liese Bubble Hair Color Platinum Beige

It has been quite some time since I last did a review on something :)

So basically here is one for Liese.

I actually did not purchase Liese hair color but I got it for free! :)
How?
They actually had an exchange programme where all we need to do was to bring in any hair colorants product to their participating outlets and get a Liese Platinum Beige Bubble Hair Color!
So, yea, that was how I got it for free!

My cousin's wedding was actually around the corner so it was a great coincidence that Liese actually organize the exchange programme.
So, lets start the review.

So basically, we don't get to choose what colour we want for the exchange programme.
They gave out Platinum Beige.
 This is the expected colour.

And when you open the box, there is the instruction manual, (picture from left) gloves, after-dye treatment, solution 1, solution 2 and the foamer cap.
As you can see, before coloring..

The steps were actually quite simple.

First, you put on those gloves.
Then you pour solution 1(the black small bottle) into solution 2(the big white bottle).
Close the lid and tilt the bottle upside down a couple of times and then open the lid and replace it with the foamer cap.

Then you just get yourself prepared, cover your clothes or use an unwanted clothes.
Pump the foam into your hands and just keep massaging the foam onto your hair.
At first you can't see much foam cause your hair will absorb the solution.
But after several layers, it will start to be really foamy.
Just keep massaging either until you finish the entire bottle or there is too much foam that you can't add anymore foam on your hair.
HAHA.
I actually didn't finish the solution cause there was already a lot of foam on top of my head.
Well, I don't know if that affected the colouring cause it is my first time using Liese.
After applying and massaging, you need to leave it for about 30 minutes.

While waiting...

I actually left if for around 45 minutes or 1 hour, I'm not sure.
And after the waiting period, all you need to do is wash off the hair dye, use shampoo and followed by the treatment.

Right after washing..

What I noticed after washing was that the color right on top and at my fringe was very visible but as for the tails of my hair, not much :(
At that moment, I was quite disappointed cause I wanted an even hair color.
I did not know where I went wrong but anyway, besides the not-so-visible hair color at the bottom, I am impressed with the other effects like softer and smoother hair.

So, the next day was my cousin's wedding..
And I noticed that, my hair color wasn't that bad.
It was actually looking kind of natural :)
& I got to admit, I started liking it, like, a lot!

The difference in hair color is due to lighting and angle of the camera :)

Overall

Pros:
Nice color
Leaves hair feeling softer and smoother
Easy steps of application
Foamy

Cons:
Choking smell during application
Amount of after-dye hair treatment is not sufficient

Will you repurchase?
Definitely yes!

This is actually my second time colouring my hair.
The first hairdye I used was Revlon.
It was hard to apply cause there were no foam and it turned out really bad.
The colour didn't really appear at all.
Liese Hair Bubble is really good because it is basically something like shampoo-ing our hair.
Just that we need to leave it for a while and then only wash it.

And on top of that, it gets better as days passes by!
Have a look..

This is taken last week :)
These 2 below are from yesterday.

 And these 2 are today!

As you can see, the colour looks really natural.
So, yea, I really like it!!

Thank you Liese for having this exchange programme!
Hope to have more of it in the future! :D

If I am not mistaken, the price range for Liese Bubble Hair Color is around RM32 - RM38.
You can get it almost from anywhere; Watsons, Guardian, Caring, Sasa, etc.
:)

I'm HAPPY :)
